The physical launch of Final Fantasy VII REMAKE remains uncertain

Covid-19 roars around the world as a fire in a dye plant, exploding a lot of what we take for normal here. For example, there were rumors about Final Fantasy VII's physical launch: remake in the last two weeks. Does this happen? Will it be delayed? Will we ever see the sun again? A recent response from society does not answer any of these issues.

However, the publication of Square Enix ensures that the digital output of the remake takes place as expected. For people like me, who have forgotten what the inside of a GameStop is like, it's great news. For collectors, maybe not as good? The fact is that we do not know what is happening with these tangible versions, and Square Enix either. Or if they do, they are not free to say it.

The message mentions that Covid-19 is increasingly likely to affect the landscape of distribution and retail in Europe, Australia and the Americas at its launch on April 10. Apart from that, we are invited to stay safe and to be patient until more news is broadcast in the near future. If this leads to a physical launch delay, what happens to all these pre-orders? Are they lost, like tears in the rain? Or will players be compensated and comforted in these difficult times? We will keep you informed of the evolution of the situation.
