FC Liverpool: El Hadji Diouf rises for handling Mohamed Salah violent allegations

The negotiations on a contract renewal between the FC Liverpool and Mohamed Salah are complicated. Now El Hadji's Diouf raised violent allegations against the Reds.

"Salah has to realize that he is Africans, so they will not treat him like a European, and they will not give him the best contract like the other," is Diouf, who herself from 2002 to 2005 wore the Reds jersey, from Bay Sports quoted.

The 41-year-old from Senegal justified his assumption that Salah is treated worse due to his origin, with his own experiences. "For me it was the same," said Diophoub, explaining that Liverpool did not let go of his homeland in at that time to play for the national team.

Diouf started in the 2002 World Cup. In the same summer, the earlier striker changed from RC Lens to the Anfield Road. Later he still played for the Bolton Wanderers, Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers, Glasgow Rangers and Leeds United. In 2016 he finished his career in Malaysia.

Despite the allegations Diouf Salah advises to extend his 2023 contract with the Reds. "He's 30 years old and should play for four years for Liverpool. He is the most important player with Sadio Mane and can earn more money than before," says Diouf.
